Caves Valley Golf Club Foundation Junior Girls Grants:
The Caves Valley Golf Club Foundation, Inc. (formally known as the Caves Valley Scholars Foundation, Inc.) was organized in 1994 for both charitable and educational purposes to grant educational scholarships to caddies working at Caves Valley Golf Club. Sources of support for the fund included donations from members of the club and their guests. With the assistance of the MSGA Women’s Division, there is an opportunity for junior girls in the state of Maryland to apply for a $500 grant to play in regional and/or national level golf competitions, but whose participation is limited by financial constraints. This grant program is open to girls who are between the ages of 13-18 and are residents of Maryland. Click Here for more information.
Caves Valley Golf Club Foundation Scholarship:
The Scholarship was organized for exclusively charitable and educational purposes, including to award an educational scholarship to an individual employed by MSGA member clubs/courses and/or their children, and to a girl having completed junior year of high school with a bonafide connection to golf. One $2,000 scholarship is awarded anually.
Eligibilty-The scholarship program will be open to those individuals who have provided services as employees and/or their children to MSGA member clubs/courses for a minimum of two (2) years, and/or students who have completed their junior year of high school with a bonafide connection to golf. Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on uniform objective standards. The same application form and evaluation system will be used for all applicants. All applicants must meet the minimum admissions standards of an educational institution (college, university, junior college, or vocational school) and must reasonably be expected to attend such an educational institution.

Youth on Course:
The MSGA partnered with Youth on Course in early 2018, bringing access to golf for $5 or less to youth in the Maryland and D.C. region. Youth on Course guarantees members ages 6-18 pay $5 or less per round at over 1,200 courses throughout the nation, including 19 courses (and growing) in Maryland. The MSGA then subsidizes the difference between the $5 rate and the course's normal rate to ensure golf courses do not lose money. It is anticipated that by 2020 the MSGA will need to raise upwards for $20,000 annually to support Youth on Course in Maryland. Click Here to learn more and to sign up.
