GOLF COURSE AND LOCAL RULES:

USGA (“summer”) Rules are in effect.

Out of bounds is marked by white stakes and/or lines.

Ground under repair is marked by connected white lines.

The local embedded ball rule is in effect through the green.

Artificially surfaced roads and paths are obstructions. Dirt roads – play the ball as it lies.

The pace of play for the day is 4 hours and 30 minutes. This is a generous target and expect everyone to finish in that time.

Do not have more than 14 clubs.
- Electronic Measuring Devices WILL BE ALLOWED.
FORMAT OF PLAY:

All contestants shall compete at full Course Handicap.

All MALE players will play from the WHITE tees.

All FEMALE players will play from the RED tees.

Section 3-5 of the USGA Handicap System will be applied.

We will use a STABLEFORD scoring system. See special handout on STABLEFORD scoring system.

Ties will be decided by a match of cards using the USGA’s recommended method.

The June 15th revision will be used for Handicap Indexes. The MGA will prepare the scorecards with Course Handicaps.
NOTE
It is critical to the orderly conclusion of the day that all scorecards be kept neatly and accurately and turned in to
the scoreboard immediately after the completion of your round. Please do not play any additional holes. The
gross score for each player must be kept.
