Since 1895, Pinehurst and Championship Golf have been synonymous.  Pinehurst held its first marquee event in 1902, The North South Amateur, today a staple in competitive amateur golf. Subsequently Pinehurst has had the privilege to host the PGA Championship (1936), US Amateur (1962, 2008, 2019), Men’s US Open (1999, 2004, 2014, 2024) and the Women’s US Open (2014). 

The Staff here at Pinehurst Country Club  have been working diligently to provide you with the best possible tournament experience. We are ready and willing to serve all your golfing needs. We trust that you will enjoy your time here. Our sincere wish is to provide you with a memorable experience.

Entre Fee: $30 per person - $5 game included - All charges will be to the member account.

Mixed Teams: Signature Members Only 

3 Ladies & 3 Men, sign up in sixsomes

Format: 9-hole Par 3 contest, Alternate Shot. Each couple will play a 2-person alternate shot. All three couples scores will be added together on each hole to create the teams final score.  Men will tee off on Odd Holes. Women will tee off on even holes. All groups will play from the same tees. 

Sign Up: Entries will be accepted on first-in basis. Please submit the application by clicking the 'click here to register' tab at the top or bottom of this page. Sign-Up Opens October 8th at 8AM and the application deadline is November 14th at 5PM. 

Handicaps: None

Please keep in mind that this is a Championship event; play will only be suspended if the course is deemed unplayable or closed.  Should you feel the need to withdraw the day of the event, please notify the Golf Professional Staff.
