SHOTGUN:  9:00 AM

 

FORMAT: 36-Hole Individual Stableford Event

 

HANDICAPS: For divisions where Net prizes are awarded, the maximum allowable playing handicap a player can receive is 18. The tournament committee will use each player's 3-month low handicap index. For this Stableford event, a 90% handicap allowance will be used when determining playing handicaps.

 

DIVISIONS:

  • Championship - scratch prizes only - 15 years or older by tournament - maximum handicap index of 4.0.
  • Net - net prizes only - 15 years or older by tournament. Must have a valid and active GHIN scoring record to be eligible.
  • Senior - scratch and net prizes - must have turned 54 on or before December 19, 2026
  • Silver - scratch and net prizes - must have turned 64 on or before December 19, 2026

 

ELIGIBILITY: Player's MUST be a member of Nevada Golf in order to compete in this event.

 

ENTRY FEE: $330 - Late Entry Fee $370

Includes Greens fees, golf cart, driving range access, prize fund, and player's travel fund

 

REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE: December 14, 2026 @ 5:00 PM PST

 

CADDIES: Are not permitted for this event.

 

SPECTATORS: Are not permitted for this event.

 

FIELD SIZE: 96 Players. Once we have reached our field size, a waiting list will start.

 

STABLEFORD SCORING: For this tournament we will be using a modified Stableford scoring method. Points are accumulated based on your score from each hole. 

 

  • Double Eagle or better - 7 points
  • Eagle - 5 Points
  • Birdie - 3 points
  • Par - 2 points
  • Bogey - 1 point
  • Double Bogey or worse - (0) points

 

TEES: 

Please Note: Cascata is undergoing  a course renovation project. Tee colors and yardages are subject to change. 

  • Championship Division - Approximately 6,900 yards
  • Net/Senior Divisions - Approximately 6,400 yards 
  • Silver Division - Approximately 6,000 yards  

 

PRACTICE ROUND INFO: Cascata Golf Club is a public golf facility. Players are able to book practice rounds at the posted rates.

CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be done online by the player. If a registered player needs to cancel, they will navigate to the registration page of the event they need to cancel from and choose the option to cancel their registration. This is the only way to cancel a registration. An email or voicemail to the Southern Region office or staff will NOT constitute a proper cancellation and can affect a player's refund.

  • NOTE: The above policy is for players cancelling prior to the registration deadline. Players cancelling after the registration deadline must still contact Nevada Golf to do so.

 

REFUND POLICY: There is a revised refund policy for this event due to the number of days in advance that we must supply a guaranteed player count to the golf course. A player who cancels prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of their entry fee less a $15 administrative fee. There will be NO refunds for any player who cancels after the registration deadline has passed, no exceptions.
