Best Practices

  1. Make sure you create a Trackman account with the email address on Golf Genius if emails are different, please let Alicia Barron know at alicia@azgolf.org or (602) 872-7016.

 

  1. Trackman Profile needs to be fully completed including gender (Open the app, with the “me” icon in the bottom left corner selected, click the settings button at the top and open your profile and make sure all the fields for your profile are filled in especially Gender)

 

  1. Verify your email before starting your first official round (When you created your trackman profile you were sent a couple emails one was to verify your email address. Please open the email and follow the steps (it’s one click). Once you do this. Make sure to log out and hard close out the app and re-open log back in and your problem should be solved)

 

  1. All rounds may be played on any Trackman system. You can use the AZ Golf website to locate Trackman facilities with discounts or in the Trackman app at the bottom right there is a Location tab that shows all Trackman facilities near you.

 

  1. Players are encouraged to hit a few shots as practice before starting the official round to make sure the strike zone is set and reading correctly.

 

  1. When playing your official round, you must log in to the bay with your Trackman profile and navigate to the tournament on the computer

 

  1. Social: Players are encouraged to play their rounds with friends, but it is not necessary. The tournament can be played with multiple people at the same time.
