Practice Round: Players may schedule a tee time by contacting the golf shop and acknowledging himself as a player in the field. A manditory fee of $60 is required whether a player takes a cart or walks during his round. Official practice round date is Monday, July 17.

Format: 72 holes, stroke play. A cut will be made after 36 holes - top 40 players and ties will advance to the final day.

Caddies/Automotive Transportation: Golf carts are only permitted during the practice round. Players are allowed caddies, but push carts are NOT permitted at Metacomet CC.
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Starting Times/Schedule:
Tuesday (RD 1) - morning wave beginning at 8:00 am off of both 1 & 10, afternoon wave beginning at 12:30 pm off of both 1 & 10.
Wednesday (RD 2) - morning wave beginning at 8:00 am off of both 1 & 10, afternoon wave beginning at 12:30 pm off of both 1 & 10.
Thursday (RD 3 & 4) - morning starting times beginning at 8:00 am off of both 1 & 10, round 2 beginining at approximately 1:00 pm off of both 1 & 10.
Competition Tees/Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLACK tees (Approx. 6,400 yards; par 70).
Golf Shop and Practice Facilities: The golf shop and practice green will be available at 7:00 am on the days of competition. Metacomet CC does not have a driving range, please plan accordingly.

Food and Beverage: The NEGA will provide a complimentary lunch for players only each day of competition. Players should check in at regiseration each day to collect a lunch ticket which will allow them access to the buffet located in the banquet room. Lunch will be served from 11 - 3 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Monday's practice round day, the club will have a limited menu available for players/caddies/etc. to purchase (CASH ONLY). This limited menu will also be available during tournament rounds for caddies, families, spectators, etc (CASH ONLY).
Prizes: The winner will receive the Harry B. McCracken, Jr. Trophy, and a gold medal. Top 10 finishers will receive merchandise certificates. Merchandise certificates only redeemable at the host club.
