- Sunday, June 17: Practice Round for Sizzler Amateur (tee times on own)
- Monday, June 18: First Round tee times in am
- Tuesday, June 19: Second Round tee times in am
- Wednesday, June 20: Final Round tee times in am
Partnership with Southwestern Amateur: The Sizzler will take place immediately after the Southwestern Amateur June 13-16 at nearby Desert Mountain Club. For more information on the Southwestern Am go to their web site at www.swga.net. We encourage players to play in both events as it will be a unique opportunity to compete at two major amateur events on several of the best golf courses in the world and limit travel expenses.
Information: The Sizzler Amateur is an established national golf championship for NCAA purposes and it will take place at world-class Troon North Golf Club, the premier daily fee facility in Scottsdale June 17-20. It is being conducted immediately after the Southwestern Amateur at Desert Mountain June 14-17.
Entry Fee: The entry fee is $450 and includes all golf over the four days of The Sizzler, player gift, player carts, practice facility usage, bottled water, and 20% player/guest discount. $125 of a full entry fee is non-refundable at all times.

Entry Criteria: A player is eligible if they submit a completed, paid application by the deadline below, space is available at the time of entry and meet the criteria below (a player no longer needs to not be a college prospect as the event is open to all who fit the objective entry criteria).
- Top 250 in closest ranking to May 1, 2018, in the 2017-18 Men's Golfweek Collegiate Rankings or Golfstat Rankings (DIVISION I)
- Top 1500 players in Scratch Players World Amateur Golf Rankings
- Top 1000 players in World Amateur Golf Rankings
- Top 1000 players in Golfweek Amateur Rankings
- All 2017 or 2018 champions of major men's state amateur and mid-amateur championships
- All participants in the men's 2017 US Mid-Amateur, USGA Four-Ball and US Amateur Championships
- All male amateur golfers with a handicap of 3.0 or below.

2018 Sizzler Amateur Entry Form
Entry Form: To enter, print, complete fully, and scan and return to R@saguaroamateur.com. You can also mail with a check to Saguaro Amateur; 6998 Indian Peaks Trail; Boulder, CO 80301. Entry forms MUST include full payment of $450, either by check or credit card. The entry fee of $450 includes all golf for four days (practice round and 54-holes of tournament golf, player cart, bottled water, player gift, 20% discount, and all practice facility usage).
Practice Round: Sunday, June 17. Tee times are the responsibility of the player. More information will be available as we get closer to The Sizzler.
Discounts All players and their guests will receive a 20% discount off of all food, beverage (non-alcoholic), and golf shop merchandise at Troon North Golf Club over the course of the tournament days. The golf course will provide a discount card for you upon arrival.
