Players will compete in 16 divisions: Open, Women, Seniors (60 and over), G1 and G2 Single Leg Impairment, G3 Multiple Leg Impairment, G4 Single Arm – Unassisted, G5 Single Arm – Assisted, G6 Multiple Arm Impairment, G7 Multiple Arm and Leg Impairment, G8 Neurological Conditions and Coordination Impairments, G9 and G10 Sitting Golfers, G11 and G12 Visually Impaired, G13 Visually Impaired, and G14 Short in Stature. A full explanation of each player classification and their course distance ranges is listed in the USAGA Ranking & Competition Standards book and online at https://www.usaga.org/current-usagr-rankings.html.
USAGA COMPETITION AND USA PARA-GOLF TEAM
Players played from a tee box in accordance to their impairment level and/or gender or age as follows:
Black Tee Box (Back) - G1, G2, G5, G14 and Open (any player from any other sport class opting to play for the overall tournament championship).
White Tee Box (Middle) – G3, G4, G6-G8, and G11-G13
Red Tee Box (Front) – Women, Seniors, G9, and G10
Qualification as a USA Para-Golf Team member is based upon USAGR ranking performance throughout the season, culminating with the triple-weighted USAGA International.
