TOURNAMENT DATES: Tuesday-Wednesday, July 21-22
 

WE ARE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ALL SINGLE-CART REQUESTS. IF YOU HAD A SINGLE-CART REQUEST AND SEE YOURSELF IN A TWOSOME, THE OTHER PLAYER WILL BE WALKING WITH HIS BAG ON THE CART.


TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

 

ROUND 2 PAIRINGS: To accommodate single-cart requests, we will be using the same pairings and tee times on both days of the tournament.

DIRECTIONS: Course is 4 ½ miles north of Owosso. Take M-52 to Juddville. Go left (W) to stop sign, then right (N) on Chipman for ¼ mile.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact Owosso CC for availability.  Call (989) 723-2592 and identify yourself as a GAM Super Senior competitor.

FOOD:  A box lunch will be available on both days of the tournament.

GAM DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars.  Neither tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted.  Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: The following Rule applies to players and caddies. In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

CADDIES/CARTS:  Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. NOTE: Only competitors may ride in a players’ cart. A maximum of two (2) player carts per group. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  Players are not allowed on practice facilities until 40 minutes prior to their tee time.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the Champion and Runner-Up in the Super Senior and Legends Division. In addition, a prize will be awarded to the player age 75-and-over with the best score.

PLAYOFF:  In case of a tie for the championship in the Super Senior or Legends Division, a sudden-death playoff will begin immediately after all scores are posted.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you have to withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournaments@gam.golf. If you must withdraw within 24 hours of the competition, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242 ext. 124. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
