Championship Details
Date: September 16-18, 2020
Location: Big Sky Golf Club | Pemberton, B.C.
Entry Fee: $200 (USD)
Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, three rounds of stroke play competition, tee gifts, range balls, one player lunch or meal voucher, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.
Entry Deadline: Monday, August 31, 2020
Eligibility: Entries are open to male amateur golfers who: (1) will have reached their twenty-fifth birthday by September 16, 2020 (2) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 8.4, and (2) are members in good standing of a PNGA member club.
Field Limit: Field will be limited to 90 qualified entrants. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.
Schedule:
Championship - 90 players eligible
Stroke Play: 54 holes stroke play. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off.
Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship.
Caddies: A player may provide his own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.
Carts: Players and caddies may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $18 (USD) per seat/day. Fees will be collected during registration
Exemptions: All past PNGA Men's Mid-Amateur Champions; Other exempt players: Daniel Swanson, Erik Hanson, Keynan Fanslow, Jeff Strickland, Jonathan Romano, Pat O'Donnell, Reid Hatley.
Lodging: The PNGA has negotiated discounted hotel rates for tournament players and guests.
