The Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship Fund for girls was established in 1977 following a generous endowment by Priscilla Maxwell Endicott. The scholarship fund is supported by membership contributions to the Connecticut Women's Golf Association and other individual donations. CWGA is committed to the support and success of PME/CWGA and encourages its members to pledge their support.

These scholarships are awarded to girls either entering college, or currently enrolled college students, based on academic performance, participation in golf programs and financial need. These scholarships are for a maximum of four years at the college of the recipient's choice and will be awarded to any Connecticut girl regardless of race, color, creed or club affiliation. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of participation in golf programs, academic performance and financial need. The PME/CWGA Scholarship Committee conducts personal interviews with finalists.

The Priscilla Maxwell Endicott Scholarship Fund is affiliated with the Connecticut Women's Golf Association, but is an entirely separate and distinct operation. It is a 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, gifting can be made directly through the use of Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from Required Minimum Distributions, therefore tax-free. Please consult with your tax advisor to ensure eligibility.

A new scholarship fund was established in September of 2022 in Marion Hyde’s name. It will be an additive dimension to the PME Scholarship Fund, similar to the Creed Scholarship. Any donations made via the CWGA website between now and year end 2022 will automatically go to the Marion Hyde Fund unless otherwise directed.
