Dear Ladies Morning League Members,
Welcome to the 2020 golf season at Oneka Ridge! The 2019 season was a successful one crowning Nancy Hufner the Oneka Cup Champion! This year, the 2020 golf league will start on Wednesday April 15th and run until Wednesday September 9th (22 events). Wednesday tee times are between 7:30- 10:00 a.m. This year we will again set our tee times at the opening meeting and that will be your tee time throughout the year. We are again offering an 18-hole league option within this league as well, but these tee times will be set up in a block of times.
New for 2020: We will have our 11th annual Women’s Club Championship on Sunday August 23rd, this will be an 18 hole event starting at 7:30am. Along with this championship which is open to all Women who play at Oneka Ridge, we will have 3 separate Women's Tournaments throughout the year on Sundays. We will go over what these events will be and how you can sign up at our opening league meetings! We want to offer every woman an opportunity to be able to compete in both indvidual and team events that promote competition and comraderie! More to come!!
The league fee will be $110.00 this year, which will go towards GHIN handicap, weekly prizes, and appetizers for social events. This does include a GHIN handicap. The daily green fee will be $19.00 for 9 holes walking and $28.00 with a cart.
After each event, we will post the winners of the event on the bulletin board and on the golf genius for everyone to view. You will always be able to check your credit balance in the Pro Shop.
The schedule of events is on the golf genius app now and will be distributed at the opening meeting. In addition we will discuss the 18 hole events and fees.
The ladies opening meeting will be on Wednesday April 8th, at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served as well. Please feel free to bring friends who are interested in joining the league. Tee times will be available for anyone who wants to play after the meeting.
