Scramble — 36 Holes

Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf except as modified by the following Local Rules for the Douglas Golf Club and WSGA Three Person Scramble.

 

Tee Markers: Men play form the White tee markers, Women play from the Red tee markers.

 

Drives: There is not a minimum drive requirement for this tournament.

 

Golf balls can be moved up to 1 club length no nearer the hole except when on the green where they can only be moved the length of your putter head. Balls must also remain in the same cut of grass, bunker or hazard.

 

Out of Bounds: Out of bounds is defined by the nearest inside points at ground level of white stakes, boundary fences and public roadways.

 

Water Hazards: Water Hazards are defined by yellow stakes.

 

Lateral Water Hazards: Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red stakes.

 

All maintained cart paths and roadways are obstructions.

 

Stones in Bunkers: Are considered movable obstructions and can be moved without penalty.

 

Scoring Area: The Scoring area is located by the scoreboard in the Green WSGA Tent or table cover. A scorecard is deemed to be returned when the player has left the scoring area.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. However, if during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play(e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.) the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, whether any such additional functions are actually used.

 

The lowest 36 Hole score will be 2017 Three Person Scramble Champion.

Ties for the overall Championship and Flight winners will be decided with a playoff beginning on hole #1 following the posted result.
