The Annual Carpetbaggers Tournament

will be played August 16, 2020

~ The 2020 Carpetbaggers has been CANCELLED ~

 

• Team Shamble format with Selective Par.  Each player hits from the tee.  The players then select the best shot and all players play their own ball from that point.  With the Selective Par you will take One Net Best Ball for the Par 5’s, Two Net Best Balls for the Par 4’s, and Three Net Best Balls for the Par 3’s. 
   
• Always a fun, can't miss early fall tournament, the Carpetbaggers tradition goes back over 50 years in Aberdeen
   
• This event is an interesting and unique team competition
   
• The fomat changes every year - some past formats include:
  • Play the course backwards
  • Par 3 course
  • MC3 Scramble format
  • No Alibis format
  • 4-Person Cha-Cha-Cha and Cha
  • Modified Chapman-Scotch
  • Mixed Scramble
     
• Make your our groups and starting times
   
• Entry includes dinner and prizes
