31st Four-Ball Championship

Event Overview 

 

Entries Close: June 7, 2021

 

Registration Fee: $490 per team (includes cart fees, range fees, lunches and prizes)

 

Format: 36-hole four-ball stroke play competition, two day event.

 

Eligibility: Open to any male amateur golfer who is member of a Member Club or an Individual Member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association.  Players need not be members of the same club.

 

Field: Limited to 72 teams.  Selection of the field will be based on the lowest 72 combined indexes as of the close of entries.

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is permitted.

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: Will be available on June 15 & 17 after 2:30 p.m.  Please contact the golf shop at 570-341-9552 for pricing and to schedule a practice round.

 

Pairings: Play will be in foursomes. First round results will determine second round pairings. 

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form will determine pairings and tee times.

 

Ties: In the event of a tie for the Four-Ball Championship, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.

 

Prizes: The Mayor’s Trophy

 

Weather: Should weather delay play beyond the end of the day on Tuesday, June 22, the competition will not be extended and the championship will be shortened to 18-holes.
