Entry Fees $300/player, includes carts and meals (see below)
Format/Eligibility  

Format: Two day Solheim Cup format for bragging rights! Sunday: 9 hole better ball followed by 9 hole scramble. Monday: 9 hole Pinehurst followed by 9 hole individual match play.

Committee will assign teams.

Eligibilty: Entries open September 1st for players who participated in the 2019 Blue and White Cup and on September 15th for all members.

Caddies/Carts

Cart fees are included in entry fees. Carts are double-rider carts. If single-rider cart is required, the Tournament Manager must be notified in advance of the event. The WMGA will try to accommodate on a best effort basis. Please email tournamentmanager@wmga.com.

 

Players have the option of using their own push carts for this event.

Survey

A short survey will be sent via email to each player within 24 hours of the tournament.  We sincerely appreciate your comments and feedback.

COVID-19

Note: All players must comply to WMGA COVID-19 Procedures to participate in this competition. All players must change their shoes in the parking lot. All players MUST bring a mask but are not required to wear it while playing golf. Players must wear masks during registration, starting, and scoring. Whenever players are inside, they must wear a mask.

Hotel Rooms

The WMGA has reserved a block of 10 hotel rooms at the Hyatt Place East End in Riverhead, NY, for Sunday night. If you wish to stay overnight, reservations can be made either by calling the hotel directly at 631-208-0002 x 0, or by Clicking Here to make your individual reservation. If using the booking link, click the link, enter the dates of stay (October 18th) and click "check availability" that will lead you into the page with room types and contracted group rates. Click on the room type and continue making the reservation.

Meals

Sunday, 11 am - 12 Noon: boxed lunch with choice of salad or sandwich
Sunday, 5 pm: 1 glass of wine/soda with waitstaff-served appetizers, followed by boxed dinner with choice of eggplant rollatini, sole oreganata, or chicken francese.
Monday, 8 am:  boxed breakfast of hardboiled egg, fruit and bagel
Monday 1:30 pm: boxed lunch with choice of salad or sandwich
The Vineyards has outdoor seating for players to eat while maintaining social distance. Otherwise, players can take their meals to go.
For the lunches and dinner, we will send out a survey as the date approaches for players to select their food choices. Players must fill out the survey.
