Welcome to the Emeritus Golf Tour 2020

Emeritus Golf is a Canadian registered not-for-profit organization (Canadian Amateur Athletic Association AKA - CAAA charity status pending) and the sole national amateur tour in Canada. It all began in 2018 with founders Sgt Bruce Phillips CD (Ret'd) and WO Tom Martineau CD (ret'd) having an idea to start a competitive golf tour in Eastern Ontario for injured veterans. It was called: Canadian Veteran Bravo Zulu Tour. The name was changed to Emeritus Golf to reflect who we really are, Veterans!

Emeritus Golf members are like minded people from all across Canada not only Eastern Ontario. We all believe that veteran physical and mental health wellness are important and the best outcomes to a healthy and happy life are with the support of a community. Emeritus Golf does this via the game of golf.

The 2018 tour was very successful and exceeded expectations, which led to the registration of the first veteran not-for-profit organization of its kind in Canada.  The organization was then renamed to Emeritus Golf (Emeritus – Latin translation is veteran soldier) and the tour is now called the Emeritus Veterans Tour.

The tour in 2019 was expanded to include: serving soldiers not just veterans, as well as retired: RCMP, police, first responders, and their families.  We have an army of volunteers that support the cause and the tournaments, all in an effort to keep the experience truly unique to veteran comradery.
