Ed Forst Rules of Competition and Guidelines 

• Two Man Teams 

• Maximum Allowable Difference in Handicaps is 8 

• Team Handicap is Calculated by taking 40% of the difference between the teams Total Handicap 

• Match Play  

• Selective Drive Alternate Shot 

• Combo Tees (Black/Silver) 

• The team on the top of the pairing is responsible for contacting the other team to arrange the Match 

• Both teams must provide at least two times to play the Match 

• If there are no dates that can be mutually agreed upon the Match will be decided by coin toss on the deadline day 

• Match Deadlines:

  • Round 1: June 21st

  • Round 2: July 12th

  • Round 3: August 2nd

  • Round 4: August 16th

  • Round 5: August 30th

  • Round 6: September 10th

• Extensions will not be granted 

• Eligible Categories: Full Play, Limited Play, Senior, Intermediate, Limited Intermediate
