ELIGIBILITY:

Be a member in good standing of the Northern or Southern Nevada Golf Association.

Must have played in a Northern or Southern Nevada Golf Association Tournament or a member club tournament within the last 12 months before the State Senior Amateur.

Must have a verifiable handicap index.

Must meet Amateur Status as specified by the Rules of Golf.

Must be 50 years of age prior the first day of the Championship.

The maximum handicap allowed for this Championship is a course handicap of 36. Players with a higher course handicap may play but will be limited to a 36.

DIVISIONS:

Age 50-59

Age 60-69

Age 70+

HANDICAPS:

The maximum course handicap for this event is 36. Players with a course handicap higher than 36 will be reduced to the maximum. All players must have a verifiable handicap index.

AWARDS:

A perpetual trophy and memento will be awarded for the low gross over the field in the Senior Championship regardless of the flight.

A perpetual trophy and memento will be awarded for the low net over the field in the Senior Championship regardless of the flight.

Gross and Net winners in each flight will be paid.

Overall gross and net Champions will not be eligible for prizes in their flights.

Prize fund for this Championship will be distributed equally to gross and net players. The prize fund will be distributed to at least one-third of the field and the prize fund will be set at no more than $40 per player.

OTHER INFO: 

Soft spikes are required. Nevada State dress code is in effect. Non-conforming clubs are prohibited although we will not be enforcing the 2010 groove rule.

SPECTATORS:

Spectators are welcome to watch but there will be NO SPECTATOR CARTS AVAILABLE.
