Tournament Rules & Special Event Rules
USGA Rules Govern Play
The committee will regulate rules of play. USGA rules are in effect for this competition.
Out of Bounds Rule
The tournament WILL NOT be observing the alternative relief rule for balls out of bounds. Competitors must re-tee if their tee shot goes out of bounds.
Rainout Rules
A. In case of rainout on Saturday, Sunday's play will count for the tournament and all betting.
B. In case of rainout on Sunday, Saturday's play will count for the tournament and all betting.
C. Two-day Rainout: A two-day rainout will cancel the tournament and necessary adjustments will be made on the money allotted for merchandise prizes and betting only. All other activities other than golf will go as planned.
Spectators
Spectators are NOT allowed on the course during tournament play.
LG Everist Closest to the Pin Challenge
Saturday - Qualifying shots may be purchased and attempted between 1:45pm and 4:00pm Saturday. The top 10 players closest in distance to the flagstick will qualify for the finals. The finals will be contested following the Texas Shootout. Players may purchase 5 shots for $10. You may buy in as many times as you like. Each qualifier will receive 3 shots during the finals. The top six places will be paid out.
Sutton Auction/Dakota Beverage Texas Shootout
You are strongly encouraged to hole out on every hole during round 1 and keep a complete score. The low 20 gross scores (plus ties) will be invited to participate in the Texas Shootout. The cost is $20 per player. There will be $1,250 of prize money available and a $300 birdie/eagle pool. The pool is divided by the number of birdies/eagles. Eagles count as 2 birdies. There will be 10 two-man teams playing alternate shot. The highest score is eliminated on each hole. Ties for the high score will be determined by a chip-off).
