Practice Round: Players may schedule a tee time by contacting the golf shop and acknowledging himself as a player in the field. Practice round fee is $35 and includes cart and range balls. Official practice round date is Monday, Sepember 11. Alternate dates and times are available for practice rounds as well - based on the club's availability. Player should contact the club to schedule a tee time for an alternate date/time or for the official practice round date (Sept. 11).

Withdrawals: Please advise the NEGA office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete. If there is a need to contact the NEGA staff after the close of business on Monday, September 11th, please call Laura Nochta at (513) 800-7948 or reach her via email at lnochta@mgalinks.org.
Format/Divisions: 36 holes, stroke play. No cut will be made. Players 65 years of age or older will be elligible for the Super Senior Division. Both the Overall and Super Senior Divisions will compete from the same tee/yardage.

Caddies/Automotive Transportation: Golf carts are permitted during the championship and included in the entry fee. Players are allowed caddies - note that Wethersfield don't not have caddies, so if a player elects to use one, he should provide his own. Push carts are also allowed at Wethersfield CC.
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.
Starting Times/Schedule:
Tuesday (RD 1) - morning wave beginning at 8:00 am off of both 1 & 10, afternoon wave beginning at 12:00 pm off of both 1 & 10.
Wednesday (RD 2) - morning wave beginning at 8:00 am off of both 1 & 10, afternoon wave beginning at 12:00 pm off of both 1 & 10.
**Please note that the 10th tee is not located close to the club house. Players should give themselves an additional 10 minutes to commute to the 10th hole if they are scheduled to start there. There will be signs to direct cart traffic to the 10th tee**
Competition Tees/Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLUE tees (Approx. 6,300 yards; par 71).
Golf Shop and Practice Facilities: The golf shop and practice facilities will be available at 7:00 am on the days of competition. Wetherfield CC driving range is limited to shots under 200 yards.
Food and Beverage: The NEGA will provide a complimentary lunch for players only each day of competition. Players should check in at regiseration each day to collect a lunch ticket which will allow them access to the buffet located in the banquet room. Lunch will be served from 11 - 3 pm Tuesday and Wednesday. The restaurant will be open and available for players, spectators, spouses, etc. Monday through Wednesday to purchase lunch off of a limited menu (cash or credit both accepted). The snack shop located on the course will also be open beginning at 9:00 am Monday - Wednesday for players to purchase snack and drinks (CASH ONLY is accepted at the snack shop).
Prizes: The winner will receive the Andrew C. Bailey Senior Amateur Trophy, and a gold medal. The Super Senior Division Champion will also receive a gold medal and the Super Senior Trophy. Top finishers in both the Overall and Super Senior Division will receive merchandise certificates. Merchandise certificates only redeemable at the host club.
