Every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM, eight days prior to the following Wednesday morning play, registered Wed. players may log into GolfGenius.com to randomly search for available tee times. Tee Times are blocked from 7:00 AM to 10:52 AM and no person may sign up for more than one starting time (however, players may sign up their playing partners in the same group). Each player must pre-register to access the Golf Genius Tee Sheet, by sending an email at least 5 days in advance to: nadomensday@mail.com with the following contact info:
Name, Email address, GHIN (if you have one), and Phone#
Once a player is registered, that player will have access to the weekly tee sheet on Golf Genius, to sign in and try to procure a time for the following week.
Wednesday Men’s Club Games are for CMGC members only who choose to play. The entry fee is $5.00. Members are expected to follow the “Rules of Golf” as their guide, fill in the scorecard completely, legibly & correctly. Players must also enter scores into the Golf Genius on course scoring app.
Individual Low Net and Better Ball Partners are the two games that alternate each week. Individual Low Net games are divided into three flights according to handicaps. Better Ball Partners game is one flight and adjusts to 90% of each individual’s handicaps. With the Better Ball Partner game it may be necessary for one member to partner with 2 members within his playing group. In this case the member who partners twice pays a $10.00 entry fee vs. the usual $5.00 individual fee.
Cash payouts are awarded to winners in each flight along with chip-ins (par or less) and Closest to the Pin (holes #5 & #11), Eagles, and Hole In One. There is a separate Hole in One insurance game, where the pot is paid to the member who scores a Hole In One on any hole and has pre-paid the $2.00 insurance fee (pot is split if more than one in the same round by separate players).
The final results of the game will be posted on the CMGC website as well as through the Golf Genius app or website.
