CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE
Our Championship is a 54-Hole Stroke Play event played over three days on three different golf courses. The field will be divided into three classes according to handicap indexes as of September 1, 2017. Trophies and prizes are awarded for 18, 36 and 54 holes, along with daily prizes in classes and for the field. If a player in the Championship withdraws, is disqualified or fails to return a score card for any round, she will be allowed to play on subsequent days, within her class and will be eligible for any prize or trophy for any other round(s).
18-HOLE STABLEFORD EVENTS
Stableford events will be offered on Monday, September 18th and Wednesday, September 20th for those players who do not wish to compete in the three-day stroke play Championship. Players may play one or both days and must select this format by the close of entries. Please note that, except for Closest to the Hole, members choosing this option will not be eligible for overall Championship trophies and prizes or daily prizes. Prizes will be awarded only for the best 2-day total of Stableford points. Honorary and Associate Members are welcome.
This year, on Tuesday, September 19th, we are going to have a Best-Ball-of-Four tournament. Please sign up for this event by the close of entries.
All handicaps used for the Championship rounds, including Stableford and the Best-Ball-of-Four, will be updated with revisions as of September 1.
PARTICIPATION
If you cannot participate this year, you must send a letter via mail or e-mail to Kendra Graham, Championship Administrator, stating your reason for requesting to be excused. Your letter will be forwarded to the Membership Committee.
GROUPINGS AND STARTING TIMES
The Committee will make the groupings and assign starting times for the first and second rounds. The starting times will be available the evening before each round. Third day groupings will be made according to scores.
