Date                  Format & Description

 

Nov. 17            Fewest Putts

Count only the strokes taken once the ball is on the green. The winners are the players with the fewest number of "putts" for the round. No handicaps will be used.  

 

Nov. 24           Angels

Your scorecard will designate an "Angel" on each hole. Score two best balls of your foursome. The Angel's score may be counted once, twice or not at all. If you dont have a foursome, you will be assigned a blind draw.

                             

Dec. 1                 Rejects

Each player is allowed to "reject" her score on her 3 worst holes. So subract your gross and net score on those 3 "reject" holes for your final gross and net score.  

 

Dec. 8                Your Favorite 9 Holes 

Before play begins, circle your favorite two Par 3's, favorite two Par 5's and your favorite five par 4's. Keep your net score for these "favorite" 9 holes. 

 

Dec. 15            Meet/Greet/Beat the Pro Mixer

The Pro Shop will put togethor ABCD foursomes. Score your foursome's best net ball on each hole. An Assistant Pro will join your foursome on one of the Par 3's. If the Pro's ball is the best of the group, use his score as your foursome's net best ball. You'll earn a bonus prize if your individual net score on that hole beats the Pro.

 

Dec. 22           The Card Game

Scorecards will be marked with a heart, spade, diamond or club symbol for each hole. After you finish the hole, each player draws a "card." The player who draws the "card" with the same symbol as marked on the scorecard is the player whose score is used as the foursome's score. Par point scoring will be used. 

 

Dec. 29            The Golfing Gods Giveth & Taketh Away

Each player gets 5 points when you hit the fairway on a Par 4 or 5 with your tee shot. Each player gets 5 points when you hit the green on a Par 3 with your tee shot. But each player must subtract the number of putts she made on each hole. It's possible to have a negative score. Highest score wins.

 

Jan. 5                 Tee it Up for the Team

Count your foursomes best net ball on all Par 5's. Count your foursomes two net best balls on all Par 4's. Count each players net best ball on all Par 3's. Circle the net best ball scores you are using for each hole. 

 

Jan. 12               Love those Mulligans

Each player gets six "mulligans" to use during her round. Lowest gross and net score wins. 

               

Jan. 26             Love the Par 3's

Players with the total lowest gross and or total lowest net score on each of the Par 3's win. Ties will be broken based on the lowest gross/net score for all 18 holes.

 

Feb. 2               2 Better Balls of 4

Count the two gross best balls and the two net best balls for the foursome. Teams with less than four players will be assigned a blind draw.

 

Feb. 9               Odd Balls/Even Tempers

                        Score your odd holes on the front nine and your even holes on the back nine. Total these 10 holes for your final score.

 

Feb. 16             Easiest "9" Holes

The "Easiest 9 Holes" based on the course rating from the red tees will be circled on your scorecard. The players with the best gross and or net score for those 9 holes will win.

 

Mar. 2                Cha Cha Cha

Count the best net ball on the 1st hole. The count the two best net balls on the 2nd hole. Then count the three best net balls on the 3rd hole. The process starts over on the 4th hole and continues through the round - one two three, one two three!

 

Mar. 16             Beauty and the Beast Mixer

The Pro Shop will put togethor ABCD foursomes. Count the best and the worst gross and net balls for the foursome. Par point scoring will be used.

 

Mar. 23           You Made That Putt

                         All putts that get to within 6 inches of the cup will be considered made for purposes of your score on that hole

 

Mar. 30             Macho Girl

 Earn 2 points for the net par, 2 points for each net birdie, and 4 points for each net eagle when you play from the Red tees. or be a "Macho Girl" and play from the White tees and earn an extra point. Or be a "Macho Macho Girl" and play from the Black tees and earn two extra points. Choose what tee you want to play from hole by hole. 

 

Apr. 6               RLQ Cruise

All individual scores that Cruise in under 72 net par will be a winner.
