REGISTRATION 

Entries open January 1st and close March 21st, 2021.

 

INCLUDED IN PLAYER ENTRY FEE

Greens fees, commemorative tee prizes, prize fund, trophy for each net flight winner, trophy for Championship flight winner and name/year on Pasadena City Championship perpetual trophy.

 

TRANSPORTATION & CADDIES

Players may walk or ride at their own discretion.  Cart fees for the tournament are not included in the entry fee. Carts are limited to a single rider and are based on availability; we encourage walking when feasible. Caddies are not currently permitted due to COVID-19 tournament protocols.

 

PRACTICE FACILITIES

The driving range is available to all competitors for the duration of the Championship. Range balls may be purchased at the starter’s window. The short game practice area and putting greens are open with specific COVID-19 protocols in place limiting the number of players able to use them at any one time.

  

DRESS CODE 

Appropriate golf attire is required which includes collared shirts with sleeves, Bermuda length shorts, or slacks.  Shoes with metal or traditionally-designed spikes are prohibited.  Please note that this policy is in effect for both players and caddies, without exception. 

 

CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION

The Championship will be conducted under the 2020 USGA Rules of Golf.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Contestants must observe proper golf etiquette at all times. Any abuse or disrespect of fellow competitors, officials, employees of Brookside Golf Club, or other persons conducting the event can be grounds for disqualification. Such abuse may be verbal or physical or threat thereof and includes, but is not limited to: the use of obscene language, physical damage to property or equipment.

 

WITHDRAWAL & NO SHOW POLICY          

If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by sending an email to Brookside General Manager, Scott Scozzola at gm@brooksidegc.com. Any player withdrawing prior to March 21st at 5:00 PM will receive a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. Any withdrawals after March 21st at 5:00pm will not be entitled to receive a refund.

 

Players withdrawing as a result of the required COVID-19 self-screening protocol, will be provided a full refund. For further information please refer to the 2021 Pasadena City Golf Championship COVID-19 Protocols document.

 

 

PRIZES
In keeping with USGA rules regarding the definition of amateurs, cash prizes will not be issued to players that earn awards. Instead, prize vouchers or scrip will be provided with a retail market value not to exceed the maximum allowable, as specified in Rule 3-2a of the Rules of Amateur Status (currently $750).
