The Callippe Cup
The idea behind our Callippe Cup is to reward the players that play in most of our tournaments with a special tournament at the end of the season. You collect points by playing in our tournaments.
We will attempt to hold the Callippe Cup Championship on the last Saturday of October.
This tournament will be an individual low net tournament with full handicaps.
Rules:
1. Players will receive a minimum of 40 points for playing in any tournaments (Must pay greens fee to receive points).
2. In Major tournaments and the Club Championship the minimum points will be 50 (Must pay greens fee to receive points).
3. Regular tournament will reward at least the top half with points from 40 to up to 120.
4. Major tournaments and the Club Championship will reward at least the top half with points from 50 to up to 150.
5. For signing up and playing in the summer long match play you will receive 40 points and 10 additional points for each win.
6. We will reward points all thru the Fun Tournament in October.
7. The prize fund for the Callippe Cup is $1-2 per player per tournament starting with the November tournament. Changes to this amount require a majority vote by the board.
8. The top 28 players will qualify for The Callippe Cup Championship.
9. If the top 28 players are not available that date we will fill up the tournament with players in position 29..40. We will have 28 players in the tournament.
10. To break ties (to qualify) we will split points.
11. The points will be reset before the final tournament (Callippe Cup). We will follow the table on the left for the reset before the Cup Championship and use the right table for points at the championship.
12. We will have tournament prizes for, at least, the top 20 players and we’ll retain ties for the championship.
13. Players that qualify to play but are unable to play in the Cup Championship will retain their points. These players will not win any additional points, but will be eligible for prizes.
