MAPGA Professional Championship 
This is a Player of the Year Points Event for the Open, Senior and Women's Categories
 


Important Registration Info:  To register for the Middle Atlantic PGA Professional Championship, you must call PGA National at 1-800-474-2776 or click HERE. Deadline to register is August 25, 2021 at 4:00 PM. This is a hard deadline by PGA National. 

 

Eligibility:  MAPGA Members (except A-3 and Inactive), in good standing, as of the entry deadline and tournament date.

 

Start Times: Tee Times starting at approximately 8:00 AM.  We will be using Westwood Country Club and River Bend Club the first two rounds.  River Bend will host the third (final) round on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  More details will be known closer to event date.

 

Practice Rounds:  For practice rounds at Westwood CC please reach out to Matt Gallagher (Gallagher@westwoodcc.com) and for practice rounds at River Bend Club please reach out to John Madden (jmadden@rbgcc.org.)  Please be respectful of peak times and days.  

 

Format: Up to 54 holes, at Stroke Play. There will be a cut after 36 holes to the low 40% and ties of the number of participants that teed-off on the first day. 

 

Qualifying Positions for the 2021 PGA PNC: There will be 10 qualifying spots and 5 alternate spots to advance to the 2022 National Professional Championship. This is NOT counting exempt players Larkin Gross, PGA and David Hutsell, PGA.  

Tees: There will be two sets of tees (one set of tees for men and one set for women set at approximately 85% of the men’s distance).

 

Dress Code: Male professionals will be required to wear slacks/pants (no shorts).

Optional Contests: Registration for the optional $100 Players Pool (based on the three day total scores) will open on August 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM.  All players will have 10 days to sign up for the Players Pool if they would like. All participants will be automatically entered into a skins game for the first two days.  If there are no skins, the money from the skins game will be donated to a local charity.
