Please find information related to the 2017 Jamison Cup Inter-Club Finals conducted by the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association at Shepherd's Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands in Farmington, PA on Monday, October 2.

 

The field is 13 Teams.  Groupings and tee times are enclosed.  The winning team receives a plaque for their club and individual awards.  The medalist receives a trophy and an exemption to the 2018 West Penn Amateur at Fox Chapel Golf Club.

 

Format— The competition is 36 holes of stroke play, top three scores of four count per team.  In the case of a tie, the lower fourth score will break the tie.  Teams may substitute players between rounds.  The starting tees will be holes #1 & #10.  Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf.

 

Tee Markers—All play is from the WPGA tee markers, which will play approximately 6,800 yards based on conditions and yardages will vary from round to round.

 

Pace of Play—The maximum allowable time will be four hours and fifteen minutes (4:15).  WPGA Pace of Play Policy

 

Practice Rounds:  Practice rounds on Sunday, October 1 are offered at a rate of $75, all practice rounds times are at the discretion of the golf shop and must be scheduled in advance.  Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player.  Contact the Pro Shop at 724-329-6111 for practice round times and availability, the PGA Golf Professional is Justin Collins.

 

On-Site Lodging Info: Nemacolin Woodlands is offering competitors the following rates for Sunday, October 1 for lodging based on availability:
Lodge Room - $209 per night plus applicable taxes & fees
Townhouse - $229 per night plus the applicable taxes & fees

Transportation—Players are permitted to use carts for the competition for one or both rounds. The cart fee is included.  Players may bring their own caddies if they choose. Two carts per group will be permitted.

 

Footwear—METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED--PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Food & Beverage— Coffee will be available prior to round one.  Water will be provided on-course.  A lunch will be provided between rounds and hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be available at the end of the competition.  All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player.

 

Billing/Payment—After the close of competition, all clubs will be billed by the WPGA equally to pay for the day.  It is the club’s responsibility to bill members of their team accordingly.

 

Spectator Info— No spectator carts will be permitted for the competition without pre-approved ADA verification. Please contact the WPGA office regarding the pre-approval process and ADA guidelines. ADA carts are based on availability.  Spectators may purchase lunches at their own expense.
