Men’s Club Rules

Golf is a game of honesty and integrity. The game relies on the individual to identify and report when he plays outside of the rules - accidental or not.”

USGA and Local Rules Govern All Play

  • Senior’s 70+ are eligible to play in the Red Tee Division only if selected on their Men’s Club Application and must play from that Tee for the entire season.

  • The ball will be played “down” from tee to green and the ball must be holed out (no gimmies). The ball will be played “up” ONLY when CART PATH ONLY.

  • Hole #2: Lake on the left is a penalty area. If the ball enters the penalty area near green players may use optional ball drop north of green.  One (1) shot penalty.

  • Hole #5: Penalty area on left.

  • Hole #6: Penalty area on left.

  • Hole #10: Parking lot is out of bounds.

  • Hole #12: If boxed trees around green interfere with stance or swing take nearest relief, no closer to the hole, without penalty.  This does not include line of sight.

  • Hole #14: Drainage area directly in front of teeing ground is a regular penalty area.  Penalty area along left side of hole.

  • Hole #16: Penalty area left of green. Penalty area behind green.  Use optional ball drop north of the green.  One (1) shot penalty.

  • Hole #18: Penalty area to left of fairway.

“When a player’s ball has not been found or is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, the player may proceed as follows rather than proceeding under stroke and distance. For two penalty strokes, the player may take relief by dropping the original ball or another ball in relief area, Ball reference point or fairway reference point (see Rule 14.3).

 General Rules

  • Nearest Relief - The point for taking relief from interference (e.g.: ground under repair, boxed trees, staked trees, cart paths, sprinkler heads) is the point on the course nearest to where the ball lies, not nearer to the hole and which allows player a stance and swing.
  • Ground Under Repair - Will be determined by total agreement of the group.  If agreement cannot be reached ball must be played as is.

  •  Local Rule: Ball hit out of bounds will be played as follows; USGA E-5 Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds.
