Poquoy Brook Golf Association tournament entry:
There are 2 ways to enter PBGA tournaments. This is the strongly preferred option. Otherwise, Drop entry in PRO shop. Email and verbal entries can be lost too easily.
FORMAT - 2 Player team Best ball
Each PLAYER must play 6 holes from BLUE, 6 WHITE, and 6 GOLD tee markers; the decision on which tee to use must be made before either player tees off on each hole and both players DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY from the same tee marker.
This is a flighted Gross/Net Payout tournament
100% handicap for Net payouts
Entry Fee $30

• Entry fee include does not include; golf fees & optional side pools.

• DEADLINE FOR ENTRY FORMS AND FEES is Monday the week of the tournament.
The maximum handicap for this event is 30. PBGA uses the World Handicap System. WHS requires full precision to be maintained in intermediary calculations. Rounding is performed only once and as the last step. Members without a handicap will be assigned by the committee.
“A Flight” Policy - Any player that has a 7 handicap or lower must play in A flight in Gross/Net tournaments. This applies no matter what player 2 handicap has.
Skins and/or side pool - All fees must be paid prior to the event. If they are not paid there is a $10 late fee. We typically have optional cash side pools on the day of the event.
Guest program - Each member may invite a total of 3 guests for the season. Guests may play no more than 2 tournaments (plus the Dutra). The guest fee is higher in order to contribute to the prize pool dues allotment. The team cost is $80 with a guest.
When you register a guest for the event, send a separate email to poquoytournament@gmail.com with Guest Name, GHIN/Handicap etc, email & affiliation, or state.
Players are encouraged to sign up as single players, we will match you up.
