Event Overview

Registration Fee: $180.00 per player (includes range fees/lunches/prizes) If taking a riding cart, players will be responsible for payment each day in the proshop.

 

Format: 54-holes of stroke play for the Amateur Championship Division (scheduled for August 2-4, 18-holes each day). 36-holes of stroke play for the Middle-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior Divisions (scheduled for August 2-3, 18-holes each day).

 

Weather: Should weather delay play beyond the last scheduled day in your division the competition will not be extended and the championship will be shortened. Any delays in the Middle-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior Divisions will not be extended past August 3.  The Amateur Division will not be extended past August. 4.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who (1) were female only at birth, (2) are members at a member club of the Pennsylvania Golf Association, or an Individual Member of the PAGA, and (3) have a USGA Handicap Index of no more than 32.0. The Amateur Division will consist of 54 holes of stroke play over three days. The Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior divisions will consist of 36 holes of stroke play over two days. All four divisions will play from different tee sets. Players 25 years of age or older are eligible for the Mid-Amateur Championship; she must designate if she wishes to play in the Amateur or Mid-Amateur Division during registration. Players 50 years of age or older are eligible for the Senior Division. Players 65 years of age or older are eligible for Super-Senior Division. If a Super-Senior player wishes to compete in the Senior Division, then she must declare so during registration.

 

Divisions:  Amateur Championship Division (Any age), Middle-Amateur Division (At least 25 years of age), Senior Division (50-64 years of age) & Super-Senior Division (65 years of age and older).  Each division will play a different set of tees and players must choose their division during time of entry.

 

Field: Limited to 112 total entries (48 Amateur/Mid-Am, 48 Senior, 16 Super-Senior).

 

Yardages (approximate):  Exact yardages will not be released until the day of the event. We will provide the general tee used for each division upon completion of course setup.  Below you will find the approximate total yardage for each division.

Amateurs - 6200 yards

Mid-Amateurs - 5800 yards

Seniors - 5500 yards

Super Seniors - 5100 yards

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is permitted for this event.  Players may also walk and carry, hire a club caddie or bring their own caddie.  Cart fees on event days will be $35/player/day.  Caddie fee will be $80 per day plus tip.  Please contact Ryan Muller, Player Service Coordinator, in the golf shop at 610-828-9631 to schedule a club caddie.  Push carts are permitted and require a $10 trail fee per day.

 

Food & Beverage: Lunch will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is included in the entry fee.  Players teeing off later in the day should plan to arrive early to have lunch prior to their round.   Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Hotel Information: Hotels are available in the nearby Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting or King of Prussia area.

 

Practice Rounds: Will be available on August 1 after 1 p.m.  Please contact the golf shop at 610-828-9631 no more than 14 days in advance to schedule a tee time.  Payments may be made via Credit Card or Reciprocal Club Charge.

Practice round fee: $50 plus $35 cart fee

Practice round caddie fee: $80 plus tip

 

Pairings: Play will be in threesomes at 10-minute intervals. First round results will determine second round pairings.  Championship Division entrants will play first on day two followed by the Super-Seniors, Seniors and Middle Amateurs.  

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form will determine pairings and tee times. Requests for morning and afternoon tee times may not allow all divisions to play at the same time.

 

Ties: Sudden-death playoff for first place in any division will begin immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines. 

 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each division.
