Ludlow (MA) Qualifier

Practice Rounds: Players who wish to play the golf course prior to the qualifier may due so based on club availability. Practice rounds will be available on weekdays for a mandatory cart fee, walking or riding. Players interested in a practice round should contact the golf shop to schedule. Please note, the club did recently aerate greens, so players should wait until a date closer to the qualifier for a more representative experience if possible. 

 

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 7:30am off the 1st tee. Pairings & Starting Times will be available after the close of entries and can be accessed by clicking the "Starting Times" tab above. 

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 23 qualifying places (plus ties). The qualifying players must include a minimum of 5 Super-Senior players (65 or older) or the next lowest Super Senior player(s) will be added to achieve the minimum number. Players who qualify will advance to the 24th New England Senior Amateur Championship at Manchester Country Club (Manchester, VT). 

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is permitted and the cost of golf carts is included in the players entry fee. 

 

Caddies: Caddies are permitted. Caddies may not have an open seat to ride in a golf cart, as the NEGA does not permit more than two golf carts per group at any event. 

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the BLUE tee yardage (Approx 6,300 yards; par 72).

 

Golf Shop, Locker Room and Practice Facilities: Open and available at 6:30am. Food & Beverage service will not be available in the morning. Lunch service will be available beginning at 11:00am. 

 

*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
