24th New England Senior Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds are available at Manchester CC on Monday, September 13. Players must arrange their practice round in advance with the Manchester CC Pro Shop. There will be a mandatory cart fee for all players who wish to complete a practice round.
Format: 36-holes stroke play Championship. . Super Senior players (age 65+) are automatically entered into the Super Senior division as well as the Championship division.
Schedule - Championship Proper:
Round 1 - September 14 (18 Holes)
Round 2 - September 15 (18 Holes)
Due to forecasted inclement weather, the field will be cut to the low 60 players (plus ties) after 18-holes. Of players making the cut, at least 12 must be from the Super Senior Division.
The lowest scorer for 36 holes will be Champion. There will be winners in the Senior and Super Senior Divisions.
If a tie for first place occurs, play will immediately continue hole-by-hole until a winner is determined. If ties for other positions occur, duplicate merchandise certificates will be awarded.
Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Cart fee is included in entry fee. Pull carts and caddies are permitted. Caddies may ride in the golf cart with a competitor, provided there is space in the golf cart. The NEGA does not permit more than two golf carts per group, and players MUST take priority with cart seats over caddies.
Food/Beverage: A complimentary lunch will be available on the first day of the championship proper. Players may purchase lunch before/after their round on the second day of the Championship. Lunch purchases on Wednesday, as well as for caddies and spectators Tuesday, are CASH ONLY.
Prizes: The Andrew C. Bailey Senior Amateur Trophy will be presented to the Champion along with a gold medal. The Super Senior Division Champion will also receive a gold medal and The Super Senior Trophy. Merchandise certificates, in each division, will be awarded. Merchandise Certificates are only redeemable at the host club.
Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation: The NEGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.
Restrictions: If the Championship course is declared unplayable and as a result it is not possible to complete the 36 holes of play in the period in which the Championship is scheduled, the Championship will not be extended beyond the last scheduled day and the winner shall be the individual who returns the lowest score for the number of stipulated rounds played. The Committee may institute a cut in order to play the last stipulated round.
Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for an NEGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the NEGA office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if the NEGA is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event (Championship or Qualifier).
