Entries Open: Monday, June 21, 2021 at 09:00 AM
Entries Close: Thursday, August 05, 2021 at 04:00 PM
Entry Fee: $160 (includes golf, cart, and range balls)
Eligibility: The tournament is open to amateurs who are members of member clubs of the MSGA. Each team consists of a male and a female, not necessarily from the same club. No entries with a combined USGA INDEX above 46.0 will be accepted. No individual may have a handicap index greater than 36.0. The handicap index must be at the MSGA member club shown on the entry form. If the difference between a team’s two course handicaps exceeds 10.0, as of August 5, 2021, the higher course handicap will be reduced to keep the difference 10.0. A team may elect to compete in the Senior division if both players have reached their 55th birthdays by midnight of the day of play. A minimum of eight teams will be necessary to form the division.
Refund Policy: If a team elects to withdraw from the tournament, they must promptly notify the MSGA to ensure that an alternate player has a fair opportunity to play. Full entry fee will be refunded prior to August 5, 2021.
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: The tournament will be modified Foursome Stroke Play with SELECTIVE DRIVES and ALTERNATE SHOTS thereafter. The handicap index used for the net component of this competition will be August 5, 2021. The field will be limited to the first 72 teams.
Tee Times: The MSGA shall assign pairings and starting times. Starting times and pairings will be available on August 6, 2021 and will be sent to participants via email.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for both low gross and low net, and in the Senior division if there is a minimum of eight teams. The number of prizes is dependent upon the size of the field. The low gross Champions (from the Championship division) will have their names engraved on the permanent trophy. In the event of a tie for the Championship, a hole-by-hole playoff will follow immediately after the completion of play. Ties for any other prizes will be resolved by a match of cards according to the USGA recommended method.
Rules: USGA Rules govern all play. Entries are subject to rejection by the MSGA or host club at any time, including during the competition. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct, such as violation of host club policies, or failure to comply with the requirements of the handicap system. Practice Round: Practice rounds may be arranged by contacting the pro shop at 410-527-4653. Cost is $40 per player. Carts are not included.

Food & Beverage: Club accepts cash and club charge back only. A beverage cart will be available on the course. Food and drinks are available at the clubhouse.
Transportation: The entry fee includes the cost of a riding cart and range balls. Walking will not be permitted.
