This is a Four Ball Stableford competition.

The winners on the day are presented with the Coronation Salvers and the top six couples progress forward to play in a final with County Durham.

The Coronation Salvers were presented in 1952 by Mrs Nora Baker (Alnmouth GC) who was County Captain in 1968-1969 and County President in 1982-1984
