How to: Team Formats

 

Team Net Stableford (3 scores)

- In this format, stableford scoring will be used to allocate points based on players per-hole scores. Three scores from the group will be counted on each hole, to go towards the overall team score. The Stableford point allocation is as follows;

 

Bogey - 1 point

Par - 2 points

Birdie - 3 points

Eagle - 4 points

 

Average of all Net scores

- In this format, each players net score from the group will be added together and an average score will be calculated for the group. The group with the lowest net average score will win this format.

 

Cha Cha Cha

- This is a fun format typically played with foursomes. In this format, the best ball will be counted on hole 1. Following, the 2 best scores will be counted on the second hole, with the 3 best scores counted on the third hole. This pattern will repeat through to hole 18. The group with the lowest score will win this format. 

 

Best Gross + Best Net

- In this format, the best gross score will be counted on each hole, along with the best net score from the group. 

 

Best 2 Net scores

- In this format, the best two net scores will be counted on each hole from the group. 

 

Irish Rumble

-  This format is a best ball format, accompanied by stableford scoring. For holes 1-6, the best score from the group will count. For holes 7-12 the best 2 scores are recorded for the group. For holes 13-17, the best 3 scores from the group, with all 4 scores being counted on the 18th hole. 

 

Lone Ranger

- In this format, one member from the group will be named the 'Lone Ranger' on each hole. Players will take turns being the lone ranger throughout the 18 holes. On each hole, the lone ranger's score will be counted for the group score, as well as the best score between the other 3 players.

 

Everyone matters

- For this format it is just as it sounds! Everyone's score will count and go towards the overall team score.

 

High and Low Net count

- In this format, the highest net score, as well as the lowest net score will be counted on each hole.
