State Open of VA Open Qualifier  

Eligibility: Anyone who is an amateur member of a VSGA club ($125) or anyone who lives in Virginia ($340).

Practice Rounds - You can play a practice round anytime before July 1st.  Spring Creek is not allowing practice rounds - Friday, Saturday, or Sunday before the event due the holiday weekend.  Please call the proshop 540-832-0744 ext.3

*Virginia Residence – must be current residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and have lived in Virginia for 183 of the last 365 days.  This is subject to certification by the committee and/or staff.  Documentation of evidence may be required.

Format: Eighteen holes at stroke play. 

Qualifying Spots for the State Open of Virginia: There will be approximately 4 qualifying positions available, however the exact number won't be determined until a week prior to the event and all other qualifers are complete. If there is a tie for the final qualifying position or any of the alternate positions at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff will determine the order of positions.   All successful qualifiers must submit the entry balance (VSGA Amateurs pay $125; all others pay $450) at the conclusion of the event.
