Welcome statement for membership

Welcome to the Quivira Men’s Golf Association (QMGA). We are comprised of more than 300 members from Lake Quivira Country Club. The primary goals of this association are as follows:

• To facilitate an environment for developing personal relationships among QMGA members
• To create an environment for a fair and competitive golf experience for QMGA members of all skill levels
• To enhance the club, golf, and personal experience for the benefit of all QMGA members

The financial goal of the QMGA is to operate at a break-even level. Membership in the QMGA comes at a price of $150 per year, that covers the cost of many of our tournament fees you can play in. That revenue is returned to members in the form of prize money for golf events, food and beverage service during events, gifts for specific events, trophies for the club championship, and an end-of-year awards party and Professional Golf Staff Appreciation night.  

The QMGA is governed by a board of nine directors, who are elected by the membership and serve on staggered three-year terms in office.

Dues for existing members are paid in January of each year and are non-refundable after Opening Day. New members can join the MGA at any time during the year at the full price of $150.
