Championship Format & Play-Offs
Each NextGen Championship is a 54-hole stroke play championship:
Day #1: Registration & Official Practice Round. The Player Meeting will be cancelled for 2021 and all important info will be communicated online.
Day #2: Round 1 – 18 Holes of Stroke Play
Day #3: Round 2 – 18 Holes of Stroke Play
Day #4: Round 3 – Final 18 Holes of Stroke Play (leaders tee off last), promptly followed by the Awards Ceremony.
The TOP 6 players in the Junior Boys division of each 2021 NextGen Championship will earn exemptions into the 2021 Canadian Junior Boys Championship, August 8-12, at Club de Golf La Vallée du Richelieu in Sainte-Julie, Québec.
The TOP 6 players (and ties) in the Junior Girls division from each 2021 NextGen Championship will earn exemptions into the 2021 Canadian Junior Girls Championship, July 25-29, at Club de Golf Sainte-Marie in Sainte-Marie, Québec.
The TOP 3 players in both the Junior Boys and Junior Girls division from each 2021 NextGen Fall Series Championships will earn an exemption into their respective 2022 Canadian Junior Championship.
A tie at any championship will be decided by a hole-by-hole play-off immediately following conclusion of play. Please keep this in mind when making travel arrangements. A tie for the 1st and 6th position in the Junior Boys division and a tie for 1st position in the Junior Girls division will be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following conclusion of play.
Formule de championnat et prolongation
Chaque Championnat NextGen, sera disputé en parties par coups sur 54 trous :
Jour 1 : Inscription et ronde d’entraînement officielle. La réunion des athlètes sera annulée en 2021 et toutes les informations importantes seront communiquées en ligne.
Jour 2 : Ronde 1 – 18 trous en partie par coups.
Jour 3 : Ronde 2 – 18 trous en partie par coups
Jour 4 : Ronde 3 – Finale de 18 trous en partie par coups, présentation des prix.
Les SIX (6) PREMIERS de la catégorie junior masculine au terme de chaque Championnat NextGen, mériteront une exemption pour participer au Championnat canadien junior masculin 2021, disputé du 8 au 12 août au Club de Golf La Vallée du Richelieu à Sainte-Julie, Québec.
Les SIX (6) PREMIÈRES (et égalités) de la catégorie junior féminine au terme de chaque Championnat NextGen, obtiendront une exemption pour participer au Championnat canadien junior féminin 2021, disputé du 25 au 29 juillet au Club de Golf Sainte-Marie à Sainte-Marie, Québec.
Les TROIS (3) PREMIERS de chacune des catégories juniors masculine et féminine de chaque Championnat de la Série d’automne de Premiers élans, commandité par Acura, de 2019 mériteront une exemption pour participer au Championnat canadien junior de leur catégorie en 2020.
Toute égalité pour la première place sera départagée par une prolongation à résultat immédiat (trou par trou) dès la conclusion du jeu. Veuillez tenir compte de cette éventualité en planifiant votre voyage. Toute égalité pour les 1e et 6e positions dans la catégorie junior masculine et pour la 1e position dans la catégorie junior féminine sera décidée par une prolongation à résultat immédiat (trou par trou) dès la conclusion du jeu.
