TOURNAMENT DATE: Tuesday-Wednesday, June 1-2. Both rounds will now be morning shotgun starts. 

TEE TIMES/SHOTGUN START: Please be to your cart fifteen (15) minutes prior to the starting time for announcements.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-75 to exit 89 (Sashabaw Road). Go N on Sashabaw to Clarkston Road. Turn right (E) on Clarkston and take to Clintonville Road. Turn right (S) on Clintonville. The club is located on the E side of the road.

PRACTICE ROUNDS: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (248) 391-3900.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as part of GAM Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Please be aware there is no guarantee of availability, especially during Memorial Day weekend.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

FOOD:   A complimentary lunch will be provided on both days of the competition.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to ride. Caddies are not allowed.  Only competitors may ride in the players’ carts. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. HANDICAP CALCULATION: Handicap Indexes are established at the close of entries. Per World Handicap System recommendations, Mid-Amateur and Senior players are receiving 95% of their course handicap for this stroke play competition.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. 

PLAYOFF: In the case of a tie for the Championship in the Mid-Amateur or 19-24 Division, a hole-by-hole playoff will begin immediately after all scores are posted. Ties for all other prizes will be broken by scorecard playoff.

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournaments@gam.golf. If you must withdraw within 24 hours of the competition, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242 ext. 124. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
