Teams fees and preliminary rosters due 4/09/2021 in the pro shop or at the spring meeting unless you talk with the league commissioner for an extension.  Please make sure you fill out a “League Sign Up Sheet” with all of your player's information.

Nemadji Men's Club Board of Directors

IMPORTANT CHANGES THIS YEAR!!!!  Please read!!!!

 

There have been some exciting upgrades going on at Nemadji Golf Course!  Nemadji has invested in software called Golf Genius.  This will be an App for your phone and is pretty cool and will enhance your experience at Nemadji and for all leagues.  One of the big changes is our members will be required to have a WSGA handicap membership going forward.  This will be included in your Men’s Club Membership at a cost of $50.  We ask that you sign up on the app and pay individually for your own membership using the app.  If you absolutely need to pay in person, you can. 

 

What does this mean for you and the leagues you play in? 

• All current league handicap scoring systems are now obsolete and we will now be required to utilize the WSGA handicap system. 
• In order to establish a handicap for each player for this season, we will enter your last five scores from last year from each league you played in.  There is a little heavy lifting on our end, but once it is set up, it will make things easier.  New golfers will need to establish a handicap by recording 5 rounds with the WSGA or they will need to utilize a league rule for establishing a handicap – most leagues have this in place already.   
• Schedules will be uploaded into the system and you will have easy access to them.
• Nemadji staff and the board of directors will help provide lots of support on how to use the app. It is very user friendly. 
• The app integrates with the WSGA and will automate handicaps and league scoring. 
• Results are real time and players can see results and live scoring from the app or on the TV’s in the clubhouse! 
• The commissioners and other staff can send emails or text messages by using the app.  This will be critical for rain delays/cancellations and other important communications.
• With any new process and system, we will need to work out the bugs, but this will be a better experience for all leagues and their golfers.
• We will have a full demonstration at the Spring Meeting and will have plenty of people there to help you get the app installed and get logged in.
• We will now have the capability to start a new tradition by having a “Club Champion” event at Nemadji!  There will be different divisions – don’t worry!!

• Men’s Club Leagues – It will automate our leagues and handicaps and eliminate a lot of manual processes.  A member of your foursome can enter scores for the entire foursome.
• Live Mobile Scoring - Allow players and staff to enter hole-by-hole scores and drive instant calculation of results.
• Online Registration and Payments – Members can pay for membership and other payments from the app  
• Live TV Leaderboards – Follow the action in the clubhouse with TV’s showing live leaderboards, photos, and results.
