YORK-SIMCOE - Chapter Championship

 

 

 

Event Format 

 

Format: Stroke Play and Scramble Play

Starting tee time: 2:00 p.m.

 

York-Simcoe members are invited to test their competitive skills at our annual Chapter Championship.

There will be 5 flights based on your handicap for individual Stroke Play and a Scramble division.

Winners of each flight (Low Gross and Low Net) in Stroke Play will qualify for the Ontario Championship to be held on September 12 at Richmond Hill Golf Club.

 

LPGA Amateurs 2021 Flights


00.0 - 10.0 Championship Flight
10.1 – 17.0 First Flight
17.1 – 24.0 Second Flight
24.1 – 32.0 Third Flight
32.1 – 40.4 Fourth Flight

 

The number of participants that compete in each flight of Stroke Play will determine the number eligible to advance, as follows:

  • 1-5                - 2 advance (1st Low Gross and 1st Low Net)                                                         
  • 6-10              - 4 advance                                                                                         
  • 11-15            - 6 advance
  • 15+               - 8 advance

 

Please note that only those competing in Stroke Play have an opportunity to advance to the Ontario Championship. The Scramble division is a competition at the chapter level only.

 

All participants must have a current Golf Canada Handicap Index. You must have a minimum of 36 holes posted in 2021 in order to compete. (It can be any combination of 18 and/or 9 hole rounds)

Individual stroke play will use 95% Handicap Allowance and Scramble Teams will use the Ambrose handicap method (50% of the average Handicap Indexes adjusted to Course Handicap).

 

When registering, please indicate if you are walking or riding.

Scramble players, please list the names of your 3 teammates

Cart fee: $12 + HST paid at course
