Championship Field

 

Golf Canada reserves the right to revise the championship field based upon the entries received before the registration deadline of each event. If the field is oversubscribed at the closing deadline, Golf Canada’s Selection Committee will select the field. Please note that the members of the provincial teams are exempt from the Handicap Index limit.

 

Provincial Quota Spots 

 

Each Provincial Golf Association has been allocated a quota of applications into the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship. Each Provincial Golf Association will decide on how their quota will be filled.  All quota players must complete this application and submit it to Golf Canada within five business days following the completion of their provincial championship.  Unused quota spots past that date will be returned to Golf Canada for use at their discretion.

Tableau de compétition

 

Golf Canada se réserve le droit de modifier le nombre de compétitrices dans chaque groupe en fonction du nombre d’inscriptions reçues avant la date limite des inscriptions pour chaque tournoi. Si le nombre d’inscriptions est trop élevé à la date limite d’inscription, le Comité de sélection de Golf Canada établira le tableau de compétition. Veuillez noter que les membres des équipes provinciales sont exemptées de la limite de index de handicap. 

 

Quotas provinciaux 

 

Chaque association de golf provinciale dispose d’un quota d’inscriptions au Championnat canadien amateur féminin.  Chaque association provinciale décide de la composition de son contingent. Tous les joueuses désignés doivent remplir ce formulaire d’inscription et le faire parvenir à Golf Canada dans les cinq suivant la conclusion de leur championnat provincial. Les places qui n’auront pas été utilisées par une province dans les délais prescrits reviendront à Golf Canada qui les utilisera à sa discrétion.

Exemptions 

 

The champion of the 2021 Canadian Women's Amateur Championship will be granted an exemption into the 2020 Canadian Pacific Women's Open.

[9] Top 20 players from the 2019 National Women’s Order of Merit

[12] 2020 NCAA Division 1 Individual Champion

[13] Any player who returned a 72-hole score at the 2019 Canadian Pacific Women’s Open

Given the current federal travel restrictions in place, Golf Canada will not be accepting registration from foreign residents for our championships at this time.
