Pairings and Teams: New for 2021: 2 Person Scheduling- Although it is an individual format league, we will pair twosomes with a different twosome each week. This allows for a chance for everyone to play with one another and produce a schedule of pairings for the season.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL NOT BE PLAYING ON ANY GIVEN WEEK (by Friday the latest for the following week)….We will assume you are playing unless you let us know. This is important to create pairings and have players will full groups.
League Results: This year, we will be dividing the league into 2 Divisions. We will have Season Long Winners decided by a weekly format point system, a point value for being in 1st, 2nd, 3rd Gross & Net weekly and as well as closest to the pins. The total points are added up to determine overall points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Place in each Division. Results will be emailed the following day to all league golfers through golf genius software.
Weekly Payouts will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Gross & Net (prizes awarded in pro shop credit)
Point System:1st Place (10 points) / 2nd Place (7 points) / 3rd Place (4 points) / 4th Place (2 points) - Participation Point (1 Point) Each Week You Play
Ringer Tournament: We will keep track of a Season Long Ringer Tournament. Ringer tournaments are taking your best score both gross and net for each hole weekly. Example: If you make a 6 on Hole #1 for week 1, and then a 4 on Week 2…the 4 will take place of the 6, and so on. The 1st & 2nd Place Gross & Net winners at the end of the league season will be paid out in shop credits.
On-Course Play Rules:
Teeing Ground: All players will be playing from the Gold Tees
Preferred Lies: In Your Own Fairway – 1 Club Length No Closer to Hole
Drop Zones #7, #11, #18: In Play for League – 1 Penalty Shot added
Handicap Posting: All league scores will be posted by The Oaks. It is the players responsibility to post all non-league scores to their GHIN Handicap. Use the GHIN App to post your scores.
