Welcome to the 2021 KRP TML

We look forward to bringing a new and exciting format to Highlands Golf Club this year for our KRP Thursday Men’s League.

Individual Game Information:

(included for those signed up with the yearly entry fee, also included for those paying weekly)

• All participants must have a valid Golf Canada Handicap.
• Individual format will alternate each week between Low Gross and Low Net stroke play, and Gross and Net Stableford points. The top 3 weekly Gross and Net players in all 3 flights will receive Pro Shop credit.

• There will be weekly deuce pots as well as proximity markers on the course. Payouts will be done in Pro Shop credit.
• Optional Gross Skins will be available for all players. This is a $10 weekly cash buy-in, and winners will be paid out in cash.

Team Game Information:

(only included for those signed up with the yearly entry fee, individual weekly players will not be eligible for the team game)

• Teams will compete in a year-long regular season to determine playoff seeding.
• The two best net 18-hole scores each week will count as the team score. You must have two team members play to have an eligible weekly score for the team event. All six players can submit a score each week.
• Weekly points will be given as follows:
  • The 1st team for the week will receive 29 points, the 2nd place team for the week will receive 28 points, etc. 
• Top 3 teams for each trimester will receive Pro Shop credit.
• The top 16 teams will qualify for the playoffs. All other teams can continue to play in the regular Men’s League individual games during playoffs.

Team Playoff Format (Highlands Madness Bracket):

(only included for those signed up with the yearly entry fee, individual weekly players will not be eligible for the team game)

• Playoffs will begin August 5th (unless delayed due to weather cancelations) and will run for 4 weeks.
• The top 16 teams from the regular season will be placed in the playoff bracket based on the standings (i.e. 1st place vs 16th place).
• Single elimination format.
• Two players from each team must play or that team forfeits.
• The two best 18-hole net scores from each team will count and the lowest team score moves on to the next round.
• Playoff tee times will be assigned by the Pro Shop and must have at least one member from each team in the group.
• Playoff tee times will be between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm unless otherwise arranged by competing teams. 
• Top 8 teams will be paid out in Pro Shop credit
• Regular Men’s league game will continue during the playoffs.

We will also run a weekly 85/15. 85% will be paid out that week (50% to the 1st ticket pulled, 30% to the 2nd ticket pulled, 20% to the 3rd ticket pulled) with 15% held back for the final Men’s League of the year. All ticket purchases must be done with cash.
