  • Amateur Golfers (Male and Female)
  • Aged 18 & Older
  • Must have a RDGA/USGA Handicap Index.
  • Players of all abilities are welcome.

New Live Scoring (Starting 2018): 

  • Before your arrival we please ask that you download the free "USGA Tournament Management" app onto your mobile device.
  • Each foursome will recieve a "GGID" on their scorecard, giving you access to our new mobile scoring feature.
  • Each foursome will then designate one person to post the hole by hole scores for the entire group.

Event Format

Competition will be 18 holes of Four Ball (Better Ball) stroke play.  

Men:

  • Flights within each division will be based on the current lowest one RDGA/USGA Handicap Index of the two members of the team.
  • We try to have flights be equal in the number of teams and the stroke spread to give each team the best chance to win prizes.
  • Men's Teams in the Championship Division will be  playing for the exemption will play from the Black Tee (6,710 yards)
  • Men's Teams not playing for the exemption will play from the Blue Tee (6,375 yards)

Women:

  • Women's Division will have a Net Flight Winner and Gross Flight Winner.
  • Women will play at 95% of their Course Handicap as per USGA recommendations
  • Women will play from the Red Tee (5,027 yards)

 

Schedule of Events

  • Player Registration opens at 11:30 AM
  • Shotgun Start at 1:00 PM 
  • Scoring and Awards immediately following play

 

Cart Policy

All contestants must use motorized carts.

 

Pairings

  • Please register with your desired team member
  • Tee times will be provided approximately a week before the event
  • Teams will be paired by like playing abilities and within flights

 

Range

The practice range will be open to all players beginning at 11:30am and is included in the entry fee.

 

Food Services

  • There is no arranged lunch
  • There will be hors d'ouevres served following play, which are included in the entry fee. 
  • A cash bar will be made available.

Prizes

Men:

  • Overall winning team plus ties (Championship Division - Black Tee) earns an exemption to the 2018 RDGA District Championship.
  • All ties in each flight will be combined for awarding of prizes.
  • The RDGA will pay prizes in the form of pro shop certificates to approximately 1/4 of the field.

Women: 

  • Women's Division will have a Net Flight Winner and Gross Flight Winner.
  • The RDGA will pay prizes in the form of pro shop certificates to each flight winner and approximately 1/4 of the field in the NET division.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

  1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $10.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

 

  1. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

 

RDGA Code of Conduct

The RDGA and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that includes responsibilities.

 

Contestants must be amateurs and members in good standing at an RDGA club. They must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements including Handicap Index, age, gender (for selected events), appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events, and local host club rules that apply to players during a competition.

 

USGA Rules will govern all play in RDGA events including Local Rules noted on the Notice to Players at each competition. All players should familiarize themselves with Section I.  Etiquette: Behavior on the Course in the current Rules of Golf book.
