Begins: Thursday - February 15, 2018

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Junior golfers (Boys and Girls)
  • Aged between 7-11
  • Please register with your age as it would be the day of the event.

Event Format

9 holes of stroke play each round.

 

Tees

  • Will play the RDGA Yellow tees
    • Round 1 - Approximately 1,000 yards
    • Round 2 - Approximately 1,300 yards

 

Schedule of Events

  • Player Registration opens at 8:30 AM
  • Small clinic at 9:00 AM
  • Tee Times begin at 9:30 AM 
  • Scoring, Lunch, and Awards immediately following play

 

Caddies

Parents are encouraged to walk with and/or caddie for their children.

 

Pairings

  • Tee times will be provided approximately a week before each event
  • Please feel free to call into the office if there are any special pairing requests
  • Tee times will begin at 9:30 am 

 

Food Services

  • Lunch is included in the entry fee for all players.  Please only one lunch per player.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

  1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $5.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

 

  1. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

 

RDGA Code of Conduct

The RDGA and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that includes responsibilities.

 

Contestants must be amateurs and members in good standing at an RDGA club. They must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements including Handicap Index, age, gender (for selected events), appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events, and local host club rules that apply to players during a competition.

 

USGA Rules will govern all play in RDGA events including Local Rules noted on the Notice to Players at each competition. All players should familiarize themselves with Section I.  Etiquette: Behavior on the Course in the current Rules of Golf book.
