Championship Format & Play-Offs

 

The Canadian All Abilities Championship is a 36-hole stroke play championship:

 

Day #1: Registration & Official Practice Round. The Player Meeting will be cancelled for 2021 and all important info will be communicated online.

Day #2: Round 1 – 18 Holes of Stroke Play

Day #3: Round 2 – 18 Holes of Stroke Play

 

Championship Format

Players, regardless of their disability, will compete in ONE (1) of the following divisions:

1. Men's Gross Stroke Play
2. Women's Gross Stroke Play
3. Men's Net Stableford 
4. Women's Net Stableford

 

Stableford points breakdown:

• Net Double Bogey or higher - 0 points
• Net Bogey - 1 point
• Net Par - 2 points
• Net Birdie - 3 points
• Net Eagle - 4 points
• Net 3-under-par - 5 points
• Net 4-under-par - 6 points

 

Note: Players will be added to the Gross Stroke Play and Net Stableford competition.

 

*Golf Canada reserves the right to change the championship format 

 

Prizes

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division will receive a championship medal. 

 

Play-Offs

In the event of a tie for the individual competition, it will be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. Any players tied for other positions will remain tied.

 

 

 

Formule de championnat et prolongation

 

Le Championnat canadien toutes capacités sera disputé en parties par coups sur 36 trous :

 

Jour 1 : Inscription et ronde d’entraînement officielle. La réunion des athlètes sera annulée en 2021 et toutes les informations importantes seront communiquées en ligne.
Jour 2 : Ronde 1 – 18 trous en partie par coups.
Jour 3 : Ronde 2 – 18 trous en partie par coups

 

Formule de championnat

Les participants, quel que soit leur handicap, rivaliseront dans UNE (1) des divisions suivantes :
 

1. Hommes – Score brut
2. Femmes – Score brut
3. Hommes – Stableford net
4. Femmes – Stableford net
5. Non-WR4GD Eligible (for players without an EDGA Pass)

 

Les participants doivent déclarer s'ils souhaitent participer à la compétition en format partie par coups (score brut) ou Stableford (score net) lors de la ronde d’entraînement officielle.

 

*Golf Canada se réserve le droit de modifier le format du championnat.

 

Prix

Les participants finissant aux 1er, 2e et 3e rang  de chaque division recevront une médaille du championnat. 

 

Prolongation

Toute égalité pour la première place sera départagée par une ronde de prolongation à résultat immédiat (trou par trou) dès la fin du jeu. Prière de tenir compte de cette possibilité lorsque vous faites vos préparatifs de voyage.
