  • Teeing Ground:

 

    • Black Tee Division – Black Markers
    • Blue Tee Division – Blue Markers
    • White Tee Division – White Markers
    • Gold Tee Division – Gold Markers
    • GreenTee Division – Green Markers

 

  • Yardages on Sprinkler heads are marked to the front, center, & back of the green. Plates on the tees are measured to the center of the green.

 

    • GPS Devices are permitted for this tournament

 

  • Caddies/Carts: Use of a caddy or cart by a participant is permitted for this tournament.

 

  • All play is governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf.

 

    • Penalty Areas are marked by RED stakes or YELLOW stakes and/or lines.
      • Penalty Area stakes are moveable obstructions.
      • The following holes have environmentally sensitive areas: #H2, #H3, #H4, #L3 and #L8. Play from & entry into these areas is NOT allowed.  Proceed under Rule 26.
    • Out of Bounds are marked by WHITE stakes and/or lines.
      • OB stakes are NOT moveable obstructions.
      • Left side of #L7 – out of bounds is marked by the fence
    • Ground Under Repair (GUR) is marked with enclosed white lines. Competitors may take a free drop from all GUR: nearest point of relief, one club length, & no closer to the hole.
    • Flowerbeds: Competitors may take a FREE drop from all flowerbeds no closer to the hole.  Competitors may NOT play from these areas.
    • Rule 8-1: Advice
      • During a stipulated round, a player shall not give advice to anyone in the competition except his partner and may ask for advice only from his partner or either of their caddies.
      • Penalty for breach of Rule 8-1: Stroke play – 2 strokes 

 

  • Spectators: All galleries are required to walk & stay on the cart paths at all times.  You may encourage & support the competitor, but may not provide advice or instruction during the competition.

 

  • Scorecards: Competitors will score for his/her fellow competitor.  Competitors are encouraged to check the accuracy of the scorecard (hole by hole only).

 

  • Ties:
    • A first place tie in will be decided by a sudden-death playoff beginning at hole #1 immediately after the completion of the competition.
    • All other ties will be determined by the lowest incoming nine hole score, then the the lowest outgoing nine hole score, then the hardest handicap hole, then the 2nd hardest handicap hole and so on until the tie is broken.
