TPGL RAIN-OUT POLICY

All players are expected to SHOW UP and be READY TO PLAY

The Policy

Given that weather conditions and forecasts can be wrong, or can change quickly, or can be different from town to town, the TPGL POLICY is that all players are expected to show up at the host golf course and be ready to play at their specific tee time for that round.

Upon the first TPGL tee time or any time thereafter, if the weather is inclement or threatening, or if conditions are unplayable, the TPGL Committee can make the decision to suspend play for 1 hour. All registered players are required to stay on the grounds of the golf facility during the suspension of play. After or at any time prior to the 1 hour delay, the Committee will make the determination as to continue or discontinue play for the day.

It is not the golf course’s decision to cancel TPGL play for the day – it is the Committee’s decision who will obtain input from course staff, weather sites, etc. and communicate the decision to registered players.
